   One of the people who decided to join Piecelock 70 (Thes' artist collective) is a writer named Alan Simpson, and he's been working with Thes to release his book "The Mop". It's about Alan's days working at a porn establishment, and all the crazy stuff he saw and went through. There was an excerpt up for a while (on instragram?? can't remember).

   Anyway, it looks like Thes has some limited edition packages up with a promo 45 ad single (which really has me wondering... a 45 rpm promo for a BOOK??) and a towel (j*zzmop? haha). Probably not for everyone, but I'm curious about it...

   Not sure... if you email info@pl70.net, Thes is usually pretty good about getting back to you. Might be a good question for him. I'd certainly be up for it.

   If I remember correctly, Thes said that this was his primary focus, PL70-wise, so now that he's got this released, I wonder whether the instrumental vinyls, Wonderful Radio, or PUTS 9 is next?

    Got it! I'm "limited edition box 40/250"

    Haven't listened to the 45 yet (I will tonight, and I'll start reading the book too), but the limited edition package is HILARIOUS. It "comes" in a cardboard box with a... "nice lady"... on the front. And inside is:
    • crumpled Hustler mag pages used as filler... I happened to get the "Circus of Lust" edition (some guy with a Planet of the Apes head on is... "making friends"... with a... "nice lady" in a circus cage... among other interesting pictures and articles).
    • the book, which looks amazing... very thick, good quality hardcover. Teaser: the first line of the book is: "One of the wank booths had been turned into a cleaning cupboard." Sh*t, I'm already hooked... You'll have to buy it to read more.
    • the "Mop" towel (it's more like a handrag, also good quality)
    • the "Mop" 45... which has some funny run-out writing (again... you'll have to buy it to see what it is!)... and it looks like there is a guest drummer for the instro side... Can't wait...
