Thought of one more: Tyler, The Creator. He's definitely one of those guys you either love or hate. And I'm not a big fan of his earliest stuff but Wolf is f***ing fantastic! Plus, anyone who gets arrested for inciting a riot is cool in my book.

Writing this I'm assuming you did two things: 1- You used the BB shortcut button above the text box that says video and then pasted the YouTube URL in the field. 2- You were posting from a mobile device and not an actual desktop computer.
The URL's you were using were the YouTube mobile site ones... If you visit the same page with a computer vs. mobile device, you will notice that the URL address is slightly different. The Video BB shortcut button on this site requires the desktop URL to be able to embed it directly without it showing up as a link. From your desktop all you have to do is highlight the entire http://www.blahblahblah.etc and paste that into the video text field after activating it via the video button!
