Full Moon it is! Looks like the best i can find out about, its only for a few pre drinks anyways, i wanna get to the show on time, what time doors open? Is it 9pm or 7pm? So excited for this! Il have some form of PUTS attire on so come say hi if anyones around, il be with the missus n hopfully Loudwon so well get the PUTS posse on the go!

Posts: 4Posted 13 years ago #Its quite far though really, I had in my head it was closer. If you think its too far to walk H Bar and The Big Chill are a lot closer (literally 3 mins walk from the o2) and maybe more suitable than full moon, it can be a bit "bristol" at weekends.

Posts: 1,659Posted 13 years ago #WOW!!! What can i say, the show last night was CRAZY!!!! Best show i have ever seen, still trying to digest what happened but highlights for me were;
*Meeting, getting a photo and having a chat with Thes and Double K
*Buying the sweet Acid Raindrops T-Shirt and a new PL70 hat
*The music!!!! MY God! For my first PUTS show it was supurb, seeing Beer and SF Knights played out live still sends shivers up my spine.
*Great to meet Loudwon and have a few beersOnly criticisms would be the minor scuffle that broke out mid way through, which Thes and security dealt with swiftly, the price of a pint was a bit expensive and that PUTS didnt get on stage till 1am, by which time i was flagging, although one the P hit the stage i woke straight up, just wish it would of been an hour earlier.
All in all, a great night, the support from Mr Thing and Yungun (now known as essah) was brilliant, the other supporting acts were alright from what i saw of them, wasnt really paying too much attention tho.
Erm, aside from that, not much else to report, PUTS are working on a new album as we speak, and Thes mentioned that PL70 might be expanding to the UK??? Apparentley a guy from London has moved to LA and they seem to be in talks about it... I wish i had more info than that, but it was pretty busy, i dont know what this could entail, prehaps PL70 becoming a global label?

Big congrats to the homie for helping PL70 grow and flourish beyond the States!
Sounds like PUTS is killing the UK! Glad everyone is having fun, love hearing about the aw-inspired P show reviews...

Posts: 1,415Posted 13 years ago #I had a hell of a week before the gig, everything that could have gone wrong went wrong... including losing my ticket minutes before meeting up with Mambo!
I found it lying face up in the middle of the pavement... I don't know how many people must have walked passed it!!
Sooooo bloody lucky.But it was all worth it, show was awesome... when we walked in the door and saw Thes setting up the merch table I couldn't contain myself and let out a big "OOOOOOOOOH"
I got my LA cap signed by the dope duo and also brought 2 PL70 hats one for me and one for my mate who brought my ticket and got them signed with our names... Thes called me 'Superburt' (Burt being my surname) on the hat... I think I have a new DJ name lol.
Thes said give the forum a big "What's up!!"
I asked him about the Wooden Boxset and he said it was nearly done and I asked Double K about his solo album... but I cant remember what he said... LOL I was just too excited
Jokingly I showed Thes my VIP Pass from Fun DMC and he gave me a fiver for a beer!!!
Amazing.They had amazing stage presence and loads of energy... I just wish it could have gone on and on!
Great to meet Mambo (he's taller than I thought lol) and cheers for your help with directions etc

Still can't imagine most of these other wack rappers working a merch table or giving five bucks/pounds to a fan for a beer. Mighty ups to the PUTS.
Yeah, SLC, I hope you're right about Beatnik Dee on the PL70UK branch. It'd be dope beyond belief. Where you at SF Knight? We need rumor confirmation!!
