Posts: 15Posted 20 years ago #While most would be thrilled to get a copy of Stepfather for free, the cost of creating a stunt, or the cost of the legal fees resulting from it, may cost more than actually paying full price for the album.
I'm gonna do a big stunt for free, but I'm just suggesting why people may be slow to react here. -

i would like to use this in one of my concepts (no negativity meant in anyway, just want to know if he was officially part of the group and what time, etc). -

i am putting these up in different variations in my city. bathrooms, buses, college campus, etc. phone is broken though so i don't have a camera at the moment.

The example given of what we could do (sticker on lamp, and suggestion of putting it on a bus) is banned under "section 224(3) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 and the Highways Act 1980 making it a criminal offence to display an advertisement in contravention of regulations. Advertisers can be fined up to £2,500 on conviction for this offence and in the case of a continuing offence £250 per day after a conviction". Quoted from rbkc.gov.uk. If I had to pay £2,500 just to get the new PUTS album for free, I'd be pissed. That's why I only did the crappy thing on my own windscreen. I even got in bother with that, from my family, who were concerned that people would think that my father was actually my "stepfather". Apparently, writing that was an insult to my Dad, but he didn't think so. I also got in bother because the acids in my hand smeared the window.
