Posts: 13Posted 20 years ago #Are you kidding me...sh!t I would love to see A Tribe Called Quest collabo...Pete Rock & Cl Smooth...Old 92 Redman and Erick Sermon but they are way out there now, but Chilltown, New York was ill and Whut Thee Album was the sh!t...sh!t if not any of them then yeah JazMak killed it for me on E Business and Kidd Lexus owned on Sterns To The Western and Knuckle Sandwich....Let's see, that is about it unless I missed anyone, I know your all about your own sound so that's the best part, but most of those guy inflenced you as well, jsut get thm back in The Studio and create old as if it were new...Man woudl love to see those collabos... -

Posts: 349Posted 20 years ago #I agree that there are too many collabo's in hip-hop. Save them for B-sides or one off singles. When I buy an album I want to hear that artist! Not about 3 other dudes on each track. I think an album should flow exactly like Stepfather does from beginning to end and that's impossible with a handful of other chaps on there, each with their own agenda and careers to think about. People having tons of collabo's on their album seems crazy to me. Its like writing a book and letting other authors do guest chapters!!!!!!
I would like to see Thes do a production album because the song he did with J-Live was incredible and the beats for Giant Panda were great too. -
