   a load of Ninjatune (Blockhead, Skalpel, Rainstick Orchestra) was Urban Renewal Program last year? Also RJD2 - instrumental albums were hot last year!
   Also 'Run to be Born' by Walking Concert (I had to import it from USA) great mellow rock album, get it

   Yo... check out U N Or U Out by The UN. Cats have tracks from Large Pro and Pete Rock, but most of the production is in-house... sh!t is nice. It's on some NYC gritty throwback sh!t. Should remind you of Mobb Deep, Wu Tang... it came out in 2004.
   
   My comrades don't agree, but Madvillainy was one of the best releases to me of 2004. That and the aforementioned album...
   Illogic's Celestial Clockwork was really solid also for nerd-rap lovers.

   Little Brother has some good sh!t,Encore - Layover was great,Asheru with Insomnia too- there many good tracks,but the past 90s are everytime hard to top

   I thought Madvillainy was pretty cool. The Pretty Toney Album was quite catchy, but the continued ripped off breaks got tiresome after a few listens.

   Madvillany is some of the most inspired/inspiring hip hop I have heard in a long time.. RJD2's second album was also really cool... And both Ghost and Masta Killa made some real good wu-albums..

   Skinnyman - Council Estate of Mind. Holdin it down for the UK, superb debut.

   Blade - Storms are Brewing. Heavy heavy album from the UK rap veteran.

    Sure, Dutchmassive had a lot of filler tracks that I wasn't feelin'. But then again, all of those CDs had at least 1-2 songs I wasn't feelin'. Besides, I can't believe you like "U N Or U Out."

    Yeah, you're probably surprised that I actually like something! You know, I revisit the UN album every now and then, hoping that it has grown on me... but alas, it has not grown on me... yet.
