I'm a new member to the puts nation but have been a fan for about a year, and this group has seriously changed the way I look at hip-hop. Certainly my favorite rap/hip-hop group that I've ever heard and definitely in my top 5 artists in any genre. My favorite album is Question in the Form of an Answer, and I'm currently building my puts collection on vinyl. I got so much love for the P and I'm proud to be a member in the forum!

I'm new here, my name is Kyle and I'm from Memphis TN, I attend the University of Memphis where I study Film and Cinema Production
My love for PUTS started back around 99-00 when the skateboard video magazine 411 premiered with some PUTS songs, it was Colt Cannons feature part and the song was San Francisco Knights, after we heard that track me and my buddy nick rushed to the computer and got online to find out more, the next weekend I picked up "the next step" and since then it's been history
Puts is my all time number one fav artist, I have all 7 albums and I'm constantly listening to them over and over and over haha
I'm going to be at the Chicago show for sure so I hope I get to meet a lot of you guys and maybe even hang out with Thes and Double K... -

I heard about them from my friends mostly because they said i look like thes one and that's when I checked them out and since then I been listing to them. I live in Sacramento,ca and I also like to rap and freestyle and pretty good at it and planing to record some music soon. and I also listen to alot of underground hip hop. -

this looks a friendly lil forum,hows things im fly t from Scotland, came across this forum as i was jus puttin a photo up on myspace to accompany my new track with time machine,anyways there is a point to story its not jus advertising my page ha ha,i hate that sh!t
anyway i supported PUTS and time machine few years back and thought i may find photo of gig that i could have used for my myspace player

Posts: 1Posted 16 years ago #Hi, I've only recently discovered PUTS (in October or November '09) through last.fm. For the last 15 or so years, I've been primarily listening to old school jazz, mostly bebop and hardbop from the 50s & 60s.
When I was growing up, I loved Funkadelic, Brothers Johnson, Ohio Players, Curtis Mayfield, Sugarhill Hill Gang, Grandmaster Flash, the Beasties Boys, Public Enemy, 80s RedHotCP... but then came a day when not much seemed new and good... and fun to listen to.
So I'm pissed that I didn't know about PUTS a long time ago, but I'm so god damn happy to find them now! Just as when I was young, finding this incredible music has made me once again want to discover new music, and music new to me.
