I've been a lurker for a while, looking up topics on various songs, etc. A childhood friend I used to get herb from maybe 2-3 years ago turned me on to the P. I'll admit the first track I got hooked on was Acid Raindrops, really dug the chorus. After a while, I branched out, and not long after that, the P was pretty much all I was listening to. I'm a audio engineer/musician and I get hooked on artists and listen to them intensely until I have to switch to something else, incorporating as I go. I play guitar, bass, drums, and I've been working on tables for a while; My love of jazzy dirty hip hop makes the P fit right in. Also, I love the all vinyl sound that a lot or most of the P's stuff has, it sounds dirty and grimy; more human and less electronic. My favorite track after a couple years of listening would be "The Dig" or more recently "I-15" (funky). Also, Thes' Lifestyle Marketing and Noonen EP are really dope. I write music myself, and I am constantly inspired by the P. Everybody on here seems very down and cool. Can't wait for the download links tomorrow night and my vinyl preorder in a few weeks! I'm from Seattle, I have a pitbull named Opeo, I'm a designer, and I've been hit in the head by Thes' elbow at two different shows.

Posts: 62Posted 14 years ago #Hey. I've been a PUTS fan consciously for about 6 years and unconsciously for at least 10, and just found this forum while looking for a Highlighter track list.
I'm originally from Colorado, but I'm kind of stuck in the middle of the corn fields in Iowa. I am a code monkey for a large avionics company. And much to my chagrin, I have not had the chance to see PUTS live, but its something I will do before I die.
Glad to find a spot to talk about good music.
