Posted 19 years ago #Oh my god, this album is just too smooth. I can't believe how beautiful the production is on these tracks. Well, I shouldn't say that, I love Thes One's production so it was expected that this album would be top notch.

Posted 19 years ago #F&F Daily C is nice the drums are so crisp. but I gotta say despite hearing alot of love for northwestern bell 2, I'm really feelin northwestern bell #1, it's that vocal clip, it really kills me. Cheetah also is mad dope and the intro track and outro are cool.
homemade fader!

DOPE!!! -
Posted 18 years ago #Got the double CD album the week it came out....for me 'GateCity saving and loan' does it for me as well as....'Pan-am 2', 'Crystal suger', 'f&f daily c', 'outro', yeah and I agree Yoyopo 'Northwestern bell #1 is the sh!t!!
Its a good album....sampling from old commercial songs is definatly an area worth exploring judging from old Thes' album! 'Gatecity saving and loans' has a real oldschool feeling to it....kinda the feeling I got when I first got 'the next step'
Have fun yo!

True on the freelance work..Thes could easily make beats for nearly any rapper but I read in an interview that he only likes to work with people close to him because it feels like they are actually collaborating on a project instead of just e-mailing an mp3 of a beat etc...
