Posted 21 years ago #they are a little pricey, the upgrades. The other 60 on there that was already beefed up was going for 950.00 or so and had 9 days left with the auction so, who knows how high it would have gotten.

I done sold that a few weeks back.
I've found that my Filter's on my software are pretty damn good, infact..I like them a LOT better than the MFC. MFC sounded good and all but, it didn't have exactly what I wanted. -
Posted 20 years ago #what software ya using? (for filters)

Posted 20 years ago #not to get into the whole hardware vs. software debate, but i can say its very possible to get amazing warm sounding beats even with Fruity Loops. My boys crazy with it and thats the only thing he uses. I use software only as well. Used to rock hardware, but i dont see any compromise in the sound when i learned my Vegas Audio and sound forge. Its all in how you use it baby!

Posted 20 years ago #Very true Alibi.
I use both.
Got me my MPC60 because I absolutely love what it does to my drums. But it is VERY limited in the effects and editing department so I bounce my drum tracks to my PC.
I discovered fruity loops 2.5 at a ripe age of 14. Thanks to DJ Dinoh who sent me a demo copy over AIM way back when.
