   Hey everybody
   
   Me and my girlfriend are going to LA this summer and I thought this'd be the best place to ask where to go digging! We'll be in Downtown, Venice Beach, Hollywood, maybe Long beach so if there's anywhere in those areas that's good, let me know.

   If you are coming on the first weekend of any month. The Pasadena Record Swap is always the first sunday of each month. It's located at the Pasadena City College. It's a great place to find records. Thats really the only place I dig at basically because I don't know of any other places(only have lived here for 7 months). Sometimes I might find something worth buying at Ameoba but not too often.

   From what I'm told there aren't a great many digging spots in LA anymore. *shrugs*.
   
   I wish it was Summer 2003 and I was back home(st louis). I had the perfect digging spot 35 minutes out of the city. But I didn't realize it until they shut it down. What a shame right??

   I hear you. sinced I've moved up North (of England) 2 of my favourite record shops have shut. The internet's useful, but some of my favourite records have been bought just because I like the look of them and I had a chance to spin them in the shop. You just don't get that searching on the internet.

   Buying on the net is always risky. Never know if that VG++ is mildew stained or warped.
