This is one of my favourite beats of all time...
TO ALL THE REALLY SCHOOLED DIGGERS OUT THERE, can u help?
i really want to know all the labels thes runs through in the second part of the song..
being over here in Australia, we have a lot less funk and rare vinyl, and its hard to even discover the names of all these old record labels, so im pretty uneducated when it comes to all the good old labels.. if someone could school me and list all, or even some of the label names he mentions would be awesome, would help me in my digging A LOT!!!
I know some of them, but he just runs through them so quick that i cant catch them, espeically when i dont already know the names of the labels, doesnt help at all..as for some not sure if he even says the whole name of the label..

thanks heaps for that, that will help a lot.
there were quite a few in there i did know, but a lot of them i wasn't sure of the exact name, or couldnt catch it properly...
dont get me wrong, i dig a lot more than most people, i dig as much as i can afford, i have a pretty full on work shedule which limits my digging time, i always go on quick dig sessions at lunch, but most of the thrift stores ( salvation army, St Vinnnies ) in Australia have a pretty average selection, mostly 80's aussie disco crap, or absolute crap, occasionally come acorss a hidden gem. not as much funk and jazz over here in australia compared to the states, uk and europe.

Different Drummer in between milestone and pickwick.....what he says before people i don't know, must of listened to that track a billion times :-)....i thought it might be pablo but i don't think so...
