I've got some money together and I'm definatly going to buy some decks for my self.....does anyone suggest a certain type/brand/model that are going to last me and serve me well as I learn and hopefully develop??????
Plus does anyone know whether I can link decks up to fruity loops as I dont have a sampler? Peace.

Posted 18 years ago #1200's are the indisputable king, my second choice would be Stanton
Akai has the MPC 1000. An affordable and Powerful sampler. They seem to run about $850.00 -

Posted 18 years ago #Well in the end I got some Stanton T.90's.....and a vestax VMC-002 mixer....I'm gettin down with some serious practice as I'm a complete beginner and they are doing the biz.....some of my mates DJ alot and they all think there good for life.....solid decks.....so yeah I'm pretty happy. Plus they run USB's to a program that can record vinyl onto mp3.....so all my PUTS instrumentals, all my collection are all going on mp3 which is brilliant cuz I can listen to them all whenever now! So yeah...shits all good!!
