Posts: 11Posted 16 years ago #I'm a Reason and Ableton fan myself. I compose with Reason, I'll compose the whole tune, then export every mixer channel one at a time to compile and master with cubase -

Yeah, I've used Cubase a lot, but I've never had the money to get a legitimate, full version (too busy buying things on eBay, d*mnit!)
The "security dongle" fake-out that my version of Cubase 3 uses (I got all this several years back from a homie) doesn't work with my Windows 7 Ultimate though, so it looks like I'm going to have to go legitimate. Dang. -

I've tried ableton, acid, and reason, but fruity loops does it for me. it was the most intuitive and easiest to use.
i got a MPC 2000 xl last year, and it actually taught me how to use fl better.
I'm slowly going to the MPC more and ditching the software, but i still use it at least half the time.
