Come through! Should be good stuff, I (DJ John Steed) will be spinning from about 10-11 ish, followed by PAs from some of the best local cats, then we normally open up the mic for a few bouts at the end.
This ish is getting more and more of a rep for being the place to be for underground hip-hop and showcasing local acts in the Orlando/Winter Park area, and always promises to be a good night.

It's the 4th Wednesday of each month, next time (May 28th) my man SoulBopFunk will be doing the warm up, I'll be doing it for the June show. I'll probably come down for the May show but the venue's like 30 miles from my house so it's a bit of a mission. -

Sucks, too. Because no one in Tampa is spinning underground hip hop that I know of. If they do, it's not well publicized. That's why Orlando gets all the shows!

Posts: 95Posted 18 years ago #Yeah crack on it man, it's the biggest-growing underground show on the regs down this end. DJ Stranger holding it down on the 1's and 2's every other Wednesday too, well worth checking - bit more of a quieter vibe than The Lounge but dope all round.
I did hear Tampa's got some good wax shops though? Keep meaning to go down there but haven't managed to get the dollar together yet - a trip like that needs a fat stack of cash to stock up (is my excuse)
