   Hey guys, I did a search trying to see if there were any posts on this already and I didn't seem to find any. Does anybody know what sample is used on this track?

   word..reason i say that is cos thats the rewarding bit of collecting/digging for vinyl....the PUTS samples i have found were totaly by accident, it's not black magic or a closed shop or nothing or not that i or anyone else wants to keep these things to themselves out of smug self importance i just want folks to do the leg work, and most on here do..there are no short cuts in digging..you understand the proccess much more deeply and discover dope music you never heard before, i still have tons of stuff to find..anyways i'm wafflin'..

   fact is, even if someone told you what the sample is it still wouldn't help cause you probably still wouldn't know what it was or be able to find it... so back to the dig

    Exactly, when dudes say "you gotta dig" etc, they're not saying so just to be assholes..It's so much more rewarding to pick up a Cedar Walton LP with the dope cover than just blindly buying (or even downloading) stuff that somebody else pointed out for you.
    
    And the thing is, Thes uses rare stuff, and the people who will find those samples are diggers and collectros themselve's. And part of that mentality is that when you find out rare sh!t after putting work and on most cases hard earned money in to it, you don't want to spill the beans just like that.
    
    And I honestly think that most of the original music that was used for Stepfather is so under the radar, small label, obscure stuff that people just simply don't know what it is..

    yeah ur definitely right. but i mean im sure they asked for it for a reason. by that point im sure theyre fed up and just want the sample. but its whatever digging is fun whether your lookin for a sample or not.

    i mean your right but it is a lot more fun and satisfying to find a sample when you dig.
