   Is there a way to sample off a computer into an mpc 1000?

   yeah man... put a plug to plug cable from computers headphone out --> mpc´s record in, remeber to put the recording to mono when sampling into mpc...

   You can also sample from your computer to an SP-202 the same way Dee said, and then mess with the sample using pitch and other filters, and from there run it into your MPC-1000. it gives it a dope grimey sound.
