Posted 17 years ago #Man i'd love for GP to hit King Tuts in Glasgow again. I could round up all my mates towards filling out the place (thats about 6 people...) Last time they rocked up, Maanumental had a really hefty cold (but rocked the mic anyways, big props) and Chikaramanga was at home, so we didn't get to hear TKO... Maybe this time... Plus electric laser sounds like it'll be bumpin live...

Posted 17 years ago #Well as soon as i heard GP were in the UK area i looked everywhere on the superhypermeganet to find the locations and for once Google just didn't come up with the goods!!!
Saw them with PUTS a few years ago on there now infamous UK tour (see other threads) and they did indeed rock the join. After that show i went back and just had the GP CD on rotation in my car.
Come Back GP, the UK want to show you love!!! -

Hi Newman, good to see you guys on the road in Europe, my lil brother saw you when you were supporting PUTS a couple of years back at the jazz cafe, you're now his favourite Live band... Anyway any chance you might be coming to Munich as well? -
Posted 17 years ago #I must say i was pretty excited when i heard the UK/Euro tour was confirmed....i nice early Christmas (not Xmas) present for the UK heads but when i checked the myspace apart from the Isle of Wight (which is a great part of the southern UK) there was no mention of a London/South east show!!! Last time GP toured with PUTS they landed at he Essex Uni in Colchester so was hoping they may return. Come on Newman surely those students want to crack a few neck bones to the sounds of GP......i know i do and I'm not a student (disclaimer...Mr QC hasn't nothing against students)

Posted 17 years ago #saw GP last week in the IOW, they rocked the house, the had a big welcome for the sunday night. with a great turn out.
the new tracks live we great and Chikaramanga was there scratching and mcing in Japanese and English.
he was the highlight of the show in my opinion. best Sunday night out in a long time. they were pleased to see familiar faces.
according to newman, they too were disappointed to only see 3 UK dates. this is due to there poor booking agent. they could have had a lot of shows and a lot more contact with previous venues they played 2 years ago is what was needed.
i think that the problem is exposure. a lot of people have seemed to find out about electric laser, too late.
