Does anyone have one of the Akai S Series Samplers?

I found a S3000xl with a heap of extras (Rack, 2 SCSI CD Drives, 2GB SCSI Drive, SCSI Zip Drive, PCMCIA SCSI Card, PCI SCSI Card, MESA Software, SCSI Adapter and Terminator and some SCSI cables) for $200 which I'm thinking of buying. Anyone used one/has any opinions of it?

I Just bought one on ebay a few days ago, should be here soon
I hear the closest MPC equivalent is the 2000, but I don't know myself. I've heard nothing but positive sh!t about it so it should be a pretty useful piece of tool. A good MIDI controller is important though.
