Whats up you guys? Wanted to start a discussion on what the vinyl release for 12 Step Program will look like, what format everybody would want them to do (2 LP, 12 45's, 6 different 10 inch records, crazy color/splatter what not), something new or special etc..? Has anybody heard the good word on it.....? Can't wait to jam it in May. It will be glorious......Cheers

Whatever they decide to put out, I'm on it like funk on a JBs record.
PL70 always has some interesting marketing ideas, so I'm sure we'll see something nice. Personally, I'd want to see a triple LP set with a T-shirt, a beer sleeve (preferably with a beer in it), a thumb drive, a bonus DVD, a felt LP pad, and a commemorative Alcoholics Anonymous-styled "30-day chip" for the key ring.
But if they just do a simple LP/CD/download release, I'm cool with that too.
I just want to see what kind of promotional material they choose to do, because this time, it's just been the hashtag and that's about it. Not complaining, just... for Stepfather, they had Original Sounds and Tracks and Mustache Soul (not to mention the fake leak)... for Fun DMC, they had the Funner Than Leather mixtape... for Carried Away, they had ringtones, a YouTube vid and a contest (that OM dropped the ball on, big time, but that wasn't PUTS' fault)... for Highlighter, they had some cool YouTube vids too.
What kind of advance promo would you want to see if you had a choice?
I just think that the cover should have about ten of those hard plastic-n-metal, kindergarten-style chairs in a circle in a badly-lit room with the coffee machine and dixie cups on a back table, and the homies (along with some PUTS fans or LA dudes or something) could be in the circle like they're all at an AA meeting... OR maybe they could be the two dudes busting into the meeting with a keg (and then inside the gatefold, the AA meeting has turned into a party... dude with a lampshade on his head, an inflatable girl, the coffee machine is knocked over, etc. etc.)... just an idea.

...any vinyl will do me - but I do like a bit of coloured wax.
Maybe one in the colour of beer (for Thes)...then one in the colour of JD (for Double). I'm sure Double likes a JD doesn't he? Or am I getting him confused with Dizzy from UD...who f***ing loves a JD!

Dizzy & JD!!!!! I have a massive black out from an Exeter show because he is ultra generous with that shizzle!!!!!!
Promo wise I know the P will be on point, can't even try to second guess the PL70 crew, just can not wait!
