   I've been making beats for about 10 months now (you can listen at myspace.com/speakeasy513) with a pirated version of FruityLoops and I'm really starting to get bored with it. The bass tones are especially restrictive (really only 2 that are worth anything) which leads to a lot of my newer beats all sounding very similiar.
   
   I was just wondering what suggestions any of you might have on a new program, something easy to transition from Fruity even. I would truly love to get an MPC, but I feel it they might be way too expensive. I'm kinda lost on where to go, so any suggestions would be supercalifragalisticexpealodocious.

   Get yourself a cracked copy of Logic 5 and a cheap USB inteface and start sampling.

   bro, save up like 500 bucks, and get yourself an MPC 500, they can run on batteries, and you can freak that motherfucker just like anyone else, perfect for entry level producers with small pockets!

   Thanks man, I hope I can do that forreal but it's tough in college. I need me an MPC though!
