   i mean, id pay that prize to get a working decent turntable with me outside when im chilling, but i guess it depends if your only gona use it for crate diggin'

   That one looks cool, but the dopest one is the Vestax Handytrax, when you pick up the tone-arm, the record automatically starts playing. If anyone's been in the bottom floor of Reckless Rare in the 7" section, you'll know what I'm on about! I need a cheap one though, Ebay aint got any good sh!t in the UK.

   docbeezy was selling one a week or two ago on ebay, dont know what area he lives, but its a portable and cheap!

   i borrowed a philips old portable, wich was like a suitcase, last summer, was damn good for playing outdoors, big speaker and automatic start/stop... kills me when i cant find another one

   It was $30 cheaper so I got that and I love it.

   Yeah. It has a magnetic mechanism so that when you move it away from the tone arm rest, the platter starts spinning. Put it back to the side and the platter stops. Is that what you're talking about?

   Yeah, but the Handytrack is kind of different. The tonearm rests on a button and when you lift it, it plays.

    I have a Mister Disc (Real dope portable) but that will cost $300
    
    I am about to put up a really affordable portable on the bay on sunday. I am i the states....but check it out anyway.
