Hi guys,
@yoyopo you can right-click on an application and find the compatibilty tab under preferences. then you can start application in win xp mode.
but unfortunately i don't think this will solve jk's problem.
i am using pro tools 7.4 and i doesn't work under vista either.
this windows xp compatibility mode seems to work only for a few applications.
i recommend setting up two seperate partitions.
the first one with windows vista for your normal usage (internet, photoshop ...)
and the second one with windows xp installed for your music stuff.
this will also help you performance wise as this will be a clean xp system with only your daw software operating. no hassle with virus protection software etc.
when you start your system you only have to choose via bootloader what you wanna do.
works for me and i hope it will help you!

I am thinking about changing to Pro Tools instead though... I recorded a funk album in a professional studio back in 2003 and we used pro tools. I still have all the masters and was actually thinking it'd be nice to go back to that album and look at the mix on a few tracks, add new BVs etc.
From what I remember of Pro Tools, the UX is pretty similar to Logic anyway.
Anybody got any pros/cons of Pro Tools vs Logic?
Thanks.
