I agree with deli that theres a different vibe but that is really expected with any artist. To keep the same vibes as there was on 'The Next Step' etc would be boring after awhile for the fans and P.U.T.S. But there is one thing I miss and its the lyrics off The Next Step. On 'Wanabes' Thes was getting very political and social. On 'Ten Tough Guys' Thes tries to convince an M.C that he doesn't exist and this kind of reminds of Hinduism which I have great respect for and interest in. I miss that type of thing. Although the majority of the album was about having fun and stuff I really enjoyed some of this deeper stuff.
This leads to another question who is the Mario person (spiritual mentor as Thes calls him) mentioned in the shout outs in the first three albums. Although in saying this Carried Away is my favourite album. Its just so well polished and I cant find anything to complain about. Check the Vibe is just so good.
In terms of the whole downloading versus c.d, to me, saving up to buy a C.D is so much more special than just downloading it. With the C.D you have the artwork, the leaflet... you have a piece of history to treasure for the rest of your life opposed to a downloaded set of tracks on your computer that may eventually be forgotten about after you purchase a new laptop orthe files become corrupt or whatever.
Anyway I dont write on here much but have to say so much thanks to the P for continually putting out thought provoking music you can dance to or chill out to. To me its insane why any musicians would want to just blow up and get money fame for the sake of it and then fall off after a few years. You should continually use the talent you have to bring out fresh music or whatever it is you do creatively for as long as you can and i feel the P are doing that and thats why I respect them and love their music so much.Well, thats my rant over... PEACE
