I know the Biz did a Sprite commercial and Run DMC did a Dr. Pepper commercial, so I was daydreaming the other day at the bus stop after work, and I came up with this (I have no clue what the product would be... Vans? a car? soda?... maybe it could just be a short film or even a cartoon a la Finding Bin Laden):
Very hot. Mid-day. HEAVY stop-and-go L.A. traffic on I-10. The cars are getting a chance to move once every minute or so, but not much.
Zoom in on one car... it's Thes One driving with KK riding shotgun, the windows are down, and they have some portable set-ups all in the backseat and on their laps. We're talking drum pads, turntable & crates, maybe even a laptop, and such. Maybe they're going to a party or something. They're both looking uncomfortable & fed-up.
They finally get a chance to move a little and pull up alongside a car blasting some nu-metal or some sh!t... KK looks over at them, pissed off, but then he gets an idea. He taps Thes... "Check this out". KK pulls out a fat microphone and sets it on the window ledge. He records a piece of what they're blasting, and then their car moves forward again.
KK takes what he just recorded, works on the set-up a bit, and then just busts out a loud remix of the nu-metal, completely changes it and makes it dope. Thes is interested.
They pull up alongside another car with some easy-listening, "Theme From a Summer Place" stuff... Thes records it, splices it up with a Latin beat, and goes ape. They go back and forth with this a bit. Maybe they even come up to a car blasting PUTS, and they remix that...
I don't know how it'd end, nothing cheesy like fools breakin' on the freeway or anything, but still... just an idea. Maybe KK gets his inspiration from a cold soda or some Mentos or some sh!t, or he takes off his pair of Vans and scratches up a record with his shoe or something.
I know the logistics of a set-up in a car (especially turntables, etc.) is a little out there, but the main point of it all is that it would be cool to see the two just having a good time, taking on different styles, in L.A...
Fresh? Wack? Even worth commenting on? Let me know.

yeah i was thinking the same thing, but not necesseraily a skate park with vans, maybe more like a pro doing a tre flip off a stairs and puts mad hype, and the vans skate team bump puts with them. and vans shoes come up on the screen. damn that sh!t would be a video i would NEVER EVER forget. -

They could make this a car commercial. Like the stupid car companies that try to appeal to the "unique and creative" crowd. Like those monstrosity of cars Toyota produces called Scions. Sorry, had to say it
