has anybody every checked out Moka Only?
He's been one of my favorites since way back. He used to be tied up with Swollen Members in Canada.
He releases a ton of stuff so it's hard to keep up with it all. Anyway, just wondering if anybody else has been exposed to his stuff and what their thought are.

I got a copy of Vermilion here, and it's quite enjoyable
Although I did listen to some of his other stuff, I haven't listened nearly enough to judge whether Vermilion is his best or not.

It's got a couple of really dope tracks, that stick with you.
But the dude's alright, now check out more of Lowdown Suite, already know a couple of tracks off of that one.
No point in creating a new topic, so here goes.
Anyone heard of The Loyalists?
They're 3 guys from Burlington, Vermont, currently residing in San Francisco
Consisting of:
Framework (MC)
E-Train (Producer/DJ)
Touchphonics (Producer/DJ, left the group, but still frequently collaborates)
They brought out 3 albums so far:
Moodswing (2004)
Get What You Give (2005)
Redemption (2008, some reasonable success, critically acclaimed)
Just getting the word out on these guys, they could really use some exposure as well.
A really skillful MC flowing over beats by a very talented producer.
Here's Loyal Theory, an absolute f***ing banger -like pretty much all of their sh!t- hands down, among the best Hip-Hop tracks from the last decade.
They also have a video out for Gasoline (Redemption)
I strongly (emphasize strongly) suggest checking out all 3 albums, though.
Most of their songs are all on youtube, they also regularly drop some new sh!t on their myspace (hopefully a fourth album is coming)

I know for some though, his stuff is hit and miss, but I still can't help but like it.
I'll go check out The Loyalists, I'm not familiar with them at all. -

No man, not yet, right now my main souce of internet is here at work. Most stuff is blocked, but not the forum!! However, I should have a home connection back up and running in a couple of weeks. Can't wait either, I've got a laundry list of music to check out. The Cats on here all listen to some good stuff.
