I'm not saying you're thinking of it but in general I don't think people should take psychedelics in an attempt to change their perceptions. The majority of people will take drugs such as these and have enjoyable experiences and perhaps they may even change their perception and influence their lives for better but for some it can be quite disastrous. Not trying to be a killjoy but be very careful.
So before you take them make sure you've researched them and that you are in good mental and physical health. There are many natural ways to change your perception that in the long run will be of more benefit..such as meditation, yoga. From personal experience taking psychedelics pretty much just showed me what I already knew but just made me feel it more directly. Anyway I haven't taken anything in over a year including alcohol or cigarettes and don't think I will again because theres only a certain amount you can learn from them. Anyway, rant over..read a book or meditate because taking hallucinogens may not be worth the risk!
Other times, I just feel like I'm wasting my time, I can't meditate to that calm level. Maybe the brain's just going too fast.
