maybe try to look up the company who makes them, and see if they will sell you a screen, or repair it for you.

Even if you contact akai they go thourgh VST services anyways to order their sh!t. Also if u missing buttons, sliders, knobs, etc VST has got em. -

Mel your a f***ing life saver, i cant explain how relived i feel cuz im only 2 hours away from LA so imma drive up there 2 or three days from now. Thanks for the info i greatly appreciate it. Im speechless -

Also for all you heads lookin to purchase an MPC... they can get you them for cheap.. like MPC1000's for $650... what they do is.. Akai sends them MPC's on the constant so they can take em apaart for pieces (thats how they get you buttons, knobs, sliders.. etc) anyways they sometimes offer to rebuild one(and let it be known they are official akai service) and they will sell you that rebuilt one for mad cheap.
