I'd be curious about this too, YoYoPo.
I just use Notepad or MS Visual Studio for a lot of web design... that and a lot of trial and error. Dreamweaver is cool and all, but it's expensive, so I stick to being a cheap-o about it. Once you learn the code well enough, it's like that scene in the Matrix: "now all I see is blond, brunette, redhead..."
Which reminds me, I'm almost done with my templates for the albums and lyrics subpages on my new site (go check the lyrics thread in the members only section for a screenshot of the home page), so when I get that done, I'll let y'all know. -

the site is coded using html, css, a little bit of javascript and a pinch of php. I use dreamweaver when I'm coding but really I could write it out by hand, it's just easier using DW because it puts things in nice colours.
I didn't have any background in web design before I did this site. I taught it all myself. If you ever saw version 1 of this website (5 and a half years ago!), then you'll have seen the progression!! -

Posted 16 years ago #Cheers for the reply! Do you have the original website saved anywhere? It would be pretty cool to see it and see the change.
