Posted 16 years ago #I just wanted to feel out where you cats are getting your LPs if you're digging... do you go to local stores or online? It's hard to find physical stores in some areas, so I thought that we might help each other out with the e-Digging. Do you know of any brick and mortar stores with online ordering? Or online-exclusive stores that seem really legit? Post some links... here are a few I know about:
Record Mania (http://recordmania.net/): Based out of Sweden, you can sign up to get weekly emails about new stock they've received, listed alphabetically by genre... according to an email that arrived today, they just got in a Stereolab double LP & a Little Beaver album...

ughh.com (not as good as the lab, but good for old hip hop 12") -
Posted 16 years ago #hhv.de has a really good selection.
http://www.thegiantpeach.com is good too, especially for nice threads (not technically a music centred site, but they sell beats too.)
also, http://www.suspect-packages.com is awesome for your british hip hop, mixtapes and other stuff. A beautiful site indeed.

have been checkin out some record spots in San Diego...
this place is right down the street....
i had actually ordered some stuff from them back in Chicago online....cuz when i checked out they asked for my name....and when i gave it to them....the clerk said "oh! you're from chicago?!...I thought their computer was linked to the FBI or somethin for a sec...almost got freaked out and ran outta there!
but in all seriousness....good spot...was cool to go to a spot where "PUTS" actually had a little "divider-thing" in the crates!!! This place is all hip-hop too....pretty dope...only complaint was that they have mostly new and some represses...could use some older/used stuff too! all n all a good spot...and id say to check out the site. Found a nujabes 12" among a few other decent finds...
