I feel like I haven't posted in forever! been so busy with finals coming up and sorority keeping me very very occupied...
but back to the topic at hand. THANK you PUTS for helping me through almost all problems I have been dealing with lately. Especially my breakup recently.
PUTS aren't ones to have love songs and what not but thats exactly what I DO NOT need right now lol. But the music has just helped mellow me out so much and think about things. Think about life, friends, how much closer I have become friends with Mary Jane in the last week haha.. and so much more
Thanks for having amazing music and amazing fans. I will never ever stop listening to you guys even though I have played out the OM years and Carried away ... wayyyy toooo much:) Can't wait to be able to have money and get another CD because I definitely need it.
I haven't been single in 5 years! Who else is single up on this board? WHERE MY SINGLE FOLKS AT :-p and how do you like the single life?
I miss it.. but it will definitely give me a chance to grow up, think about my life, fix my issues, date!, etc.. we shall see!

It seems like no matter WHAT happened in your day, the second "Yo" or "Schooled in the Trade" hit my ears, everything else just becomes the past. The PUTS are some magical ish, ill tell you that much.
As for the single-ness, I was with someone for a while, about a year and finally had to brake it off during late February. Its a LONGGgggg story, but basically, things weren't working out.
Anyway, single life has been fantastic so far. I have more time for myself, to explore different areas of interest, and to dedicate more time to education.

Good for you! It is so hard when I literally told him EVERYTHING in my life and not having someone to do that with is hard. You can only tell friends so much before you overwhelm them lol especially being a girl! I have all kinds of things on my mind.
Ya i definitely need to direct my attention on important stuff now so time to cut the BS and get good grades:) -

It's my feeling that those single times are the most formative years. Being with someone a while tends to make you stagnate (make sure my fiancee doesn't hear me saying that, ha).
Keep putting in that work, hitting them trees (the books and the herb), and it'll get better with time... and the P, of course. -

Usually after having a smoke and listening to a few PUTS songs.
Have a smoke and listen to O.S.T... especially the breakdown... you'll see how wonderful life is
I've been single for a few years... everyone probably thinks I'm strange... no thinking about it for most people lol.
The general consensus where I live is you should find a girl get her pregnant and get a council house etc.
These people in these "great relationships" look to me like they're having a right sh!t time haha.
They all seem to be scared of being on their own.

Posts: 1,874Posted 16 years ago #PUTS don't do it for me during break up fallout (oooh contraversial)... I need angry sh!t, like El-P. That album I'll sleep when you're dead, specifically the track Tazmanian Pain Coaster (lol) really helped me out.
That guy scientific I think his name is, he had a song called b!tch I don't need you about him gettin screwed around by a woman, the chorus was something like "Yo i might want you but b!tch I don't need you", that was pretty good ha ha... And before charges of mysogenism, I was given it by a girl who said it was good when she went through a break up.
But i suppose the P were good for reminding me to have some f*ckin fun and stop moping about... "What's the time? time to rock our sh!t"...
Ah well onwards and upwards boombip, I'm sure you'll have guys queueing up with that winning smile of yours! -

Ive often felt like that sactown, even when your in a happy relationship things seem not to go anywhere, your mind becomes placid and sorta stagnent.
Bad times boombip, im sure youll get thru it tho. Bump the P and everything will be gud.

Before I got a real serious girlfriend, I would hit the gym and watch my diet like an Olympian. When I finally 'settled down' so to speak, I stopped going to the gym, and started getting looser and looser with my diet. I noticed this BIG TIME. My theory was this: since I was mostly working out to look good for the ladies (you know how it is), after I got a lady, the whole point of working out was fulfilled and there was 'no reason' to go to the gym anymore.
These last 2 months i've been single, I've lost almost 11 pounds and gained nice muscle tone.
I'm out of shawshank, i'm FREEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! -

PUTS helps be because I do not want to listen to angry sh!t.. I am not angry that i am single but actually happy! PUTS reminds me life is great and appreciate it! Now i just need to meet them... blaze it up, drink a 40 with em and chill and my life would be completely satisfied for now! lol.. I never thought i would feel this way but my friends have been SO amazing.. sorority keeps me SO occupied.. only downfall is I work with him=\ and still have a few things to work out before we can completely dislodge.. but I think this is better for me.. I Get up HELLA early to go to school now because i am wide awake and want to be around people.. I never let myself go but I definitely spend more time on getting ready again... trying to get back into better shape but its hard! i have no idea how to work out and all i want is a flat tummy:( I dont wanna lose weight... I focus more on school... I go out more.. even frat guys are like are you new? NOPE been around since fall 07! lol people notice me now.. Ihave made SO many new friends in the last few weeks...
I am still sad but i think this summer is going to be amazing!
