   So I actually never noticed this until a few days ago. At the end of All Good Things, when Thes is shouting out a bunch of his heroes (to the man James Brown, rock rock on...etc), one of the shout outs is Beck.

   Beck is a genuine renaissance man. His music is so uncategorisable (if that's a word) but almost all of it is pure dope. I didn't dig it when I was younger as I always felt it was just a bit... pseudo, but my wife got me into it about ten years ago (when Sea Calm came out) and I've freaking loved it ever since. Had a bit of a reconnect this year with the release of Morning Phase, which pips 12SP to be my album of the year.

   Just wondering if any other P fans are also into Beck.

   Been down since Mellow Gold! Can't really say that I have kept up on all his releases like I do PUTS but I definitely agree with you JK93, Beck is a breed of his own redefining genre boundaries and always doing his own thing.

   same here, love the guys music, although i hear he is a bit of an ass in real life...

   seriously wished i hadn't slept on all those albums on wax as they came out (turntables don't work well on a ship) cause DAAAAAAAMB son those go for money nowadays.

   hard to pick a favorite... they're all good. his latest seems to be a throwback to 'Sea Change', which is a tad mellow for my tastes lately. 'Midnight Vultures' and 'Guero' are great, i think 'The Information' is under-rated. some really kickass bass playing on there.

   Big Beck fan. I never checked out Morning Phase though because I didn't really like Modern Guilt, so I'll have to go back and give it a listen. He's the kind of guy that does so much different sh!t it's hard to like all of it. Not a big fan of Sea Change either but everything else is cool. Love Guero. Love Mutations. Love Odelay.
