So... we've had a new album, an amazing tour run, their first live LP (albeit an extremely limited run), and even a bonus beat tape from Thes here at the end. I think it's been an amazing year.
We've had some hints that Thes may close down or quiet down the Piecelock/business end of the spectrum, which would be sad news, especially for production collaborations, but it may strengthen the focus on People Under The Stairs as a group. It'll be interesting to see...

So we might as well put it out there. What d'you want from Thes & Double in the new year?
As far as Piecelock goes... a year ago, Thes posted a list of PL70 releases that he was planning on releasing, and MOST of them got out. Here's what's left of his list that we haven't seen:
• PL7014 International Breaks
• PL7016 Blood At The Cove OST
• PL7017 Thes One | Wonderful Radio
I also got the impression when I talked to PUTS backstage at the show that they were planning on starting to show each other some new beats soon too, so that could be the genesis of album #10. 10 albums would be a HUGE achievement... especially with the consistency in quality they've maintained.
So... that makes three possible Piecelock releases and maybe a new album.
I also heard rumblings last week that we need new PUTS (or PL70) slipmats.
Way back during the Highlighter tour, Double K also said he was still tinkering away in the studio, but he left it up in the air as to whether it would come to fruition in an album or mixtape. His stuff on the Family Circus tape was great, so I hope he keeps going.
What else would you want?? Name it all: P barbeques? Guest spots? Mixtapes? New P hats?
