Hey guys, I'm going to Adelaide (Henley Beach) soon to see some family and I need to know the record shops around the area selling Hip-Hop, (Ozzie Hip-Hop preferably)Funk,Rock,Jazz etc...Even some Thrift or Charity shops that sell some records.
PS: Im willing to go in cities close to Adelaide aswell, so mention it if ya know.

if I wanted to pick up an original pressing off CTI I would have to get it of the net from someone overseas, or spend $40 for a reissue.
remember we had a white australia policy till the seventies.

Managed to get Herbie Mann - Memphis Underground for $5 in Adelaide and despite Herbie being white, it is quite funky. -

Posts: 488Posted 20 years ago #Look for the Daly Wilson Big Band on Elephant, those seemed to be in abundance when I was in that part...Shook Ones drum loop. Also seems to be Library records floating around out there as well. Check the Yellow Pages, that's how I usually do it when there is no one left to ask.
