I don't know if this is even possible but I feel we need to do something for Sac.....not sure what but I feel the forum needs to give him a send off or something. If we can send flowers or something. Just feel I need to show him the love he showed the forum & us.

He did me a real kind gesture a while back. I never had an opportunity to repay him with anything other than thanks and love.
Maybe once this sunk in and the families wishes are known we can consider a way to make a lasting tribute to this dude who literally touched people across the globe with his intelligence, wit, kindness and just being an all round top top top man. -

Yeah I know what you mean a real kind dude & someone who did things for people he'd never met & lived half way across the world. A true gent.

Patrick Taormina (P-Money, SacTown) will be forever loved and missed. I had the privilege of living somewhat close to him (the San Francisco Bay Area) so any time there was a P show from Santa Cruz to Sacramento, I would always run into him. Over time I just kind of informally referred to him as "PUTS Pat" because he would always be helping the guys out with different things like working the merch table, to taking photos/video, to setting up and tearing down the set. He was a good man. He was a kind and generous man. Everyone who knew him is in complete shock, due to the fact he tragically took his own life. Apparently Pat was fighting with some pretty bad depression, a fight he lost yesterday. I know that if he could see all the love people have been expressing for him, yesterday would have been very different. As a person who also lost his brother to suicide, I wish more than anything he voiced what was going on with him or what he was dealing with. Something, anything, to allow the people who loved him, to support and try to help him. One thing is for sure: PUTS shows won't be the same without him and life won't be the same without him.Rest in peace and rest in power my friend. We love you and miss you.

I feel like his suicide letter should be seen even though his family deleted it from Facebook after confirming his passing. I think it would help people understand what he was going through and why, in his words, he decided to leave us. It was posted around 9:00PM Central time on 06/15/16 and when I noticed it was deleted, I tried to get screenshots on my phone.

Thank you. I don't have facebook so glad I could read that. Personally this day is crazy, I am with family and friends celebrating and watching sport... But just shed tears reading that. I am without words again. Damn, I know this is online, but wish he would have reached out to us.

Eso... Thanks for posting this up, as hard as it is to read it gives me some kind of closure, if you can call it that.
Pat was a very exceptional guy that made us all feel very special and unique, I hope that we can all carry a just a little bit of that in us each day as a tribute to a man that touched us all very deeply and personally.
Personally I have dealt with major depression in the last 5-7 years, it's no joke and the only thing that got me through it was an amazingly supportive wife. I can only imagine what Eimi is going through right now, I wish I could give her a huge hug.
Like MrQc mentioned, it would only be right and fitting if we could all pull together something to celebrate Patrick's life. I will be trying to find the info on his services, would like to at least send some flowers. If any of you are on the same page, which I know ALL of you are, let's coordinate something that expresses our love and appreciation for all that he did. There are too many things to mention... My heart aches to type this.
Today's tracklist is all PUTS all day, in loving memory of the guy that appreciated it the most...

It's weird how hindsight is always 20/20 especially in the social media age. Looking back at his Instagram posts from the last few days, it's as if he was giving us hints. Sure, knowing that his death was the end of the puzzle, it seems we can put the pieces together to get there. From the blue shirt pic to the Aja "Deacon Jones" video with him drinking alone with shades on. Then his final pic from Tuesday with a screenshot of "Go Home" and tying that to the second verse in "Deacon Jones" and it's just ominously sad.
I had been meaning to check in on him to see how everything was going and I just kept forgetting. I'm deeply saddened and wish it was just some of his creative writing.

so f***ing sad to lose such a great guy like Pat...although I never met him personally, like most of you I felt like I knew him well from the forum and IG and all the great, insightful and helpful info he constantly and thoroughly posted. He was is and always will be our dear friend, and is sorely miss by the P Army and his friends and family. I don't even know what else to say, just shocked... a sad, sad day indeed. all of you expressed it better than me, I just wanted to say thanks Patrick for being a genuine and caring and beloved gentleman. you will be missed. whatever is decided to celebrate Pat's life, I'm in. it's the least we could all do.
RIP. The P Army lost a great leader

Yeah he was always a cryptic genius... I don't think I can listen to Deacon Blues anymore, no matter how much I love the song. I was supposed to chill with him a couple of months ago while in Sactown for business... my not making this happen is killing me inside.
To all of you on this forum, the relationships we have created in this little P universe are, in fact, tangible and real. I feel a connection with you all and I hope to keep that going. I have been hit and miss(mostly miss) lately on the forum but this has and always will be my virtual home and you are all my actual family.
If any of you ever need anything, however insignificant it seems, just reach out. We are here to support and uplift each other and I will do as much as possible to help... whatever form that help might be.
The Sactown Connection legacy lives on in this forum and each and every one of us... One Love!

Been away from the forum for about 2 years. The sad news of Patrick's death came to me through Rodney's (Young Einstein) facebook post:
I saw Sactown once at the video shooting for 1 Up Til Sun Up in L.A. We didn't talk. We looked at each other and nodded to one another in acknowledgement. I remember thinking, "this guy just drove all the way from Sacramento?" That's dedication.
Through this forum, we personally knew Sactown to some extent far enough to make us deeply mourn his loss.
You will be missed.
