Got my order in for the regular vinyl release. Missed out on the test press due to a work meeting during lunch. It sort of saddens me that this is the first release without Sactown's excitement throughout the thread.

Posts: 122Posted 9 years ago #got my copy! although i noticed Thes left off track 6 "After These Messages" on the track listing description, I credit that due to the non stop hard work he did to put this vinyl out...and nothing to worry about cuz the track is listed on the vinyl itself.
I totally agree with Thes saying that TGOS2 is the most beautiful record the P has ever made...can't wait to see it

Posts: 300Posted 9 years ago #I had a job interview this morning (crushed it!) so I was worried I'd miss out on the vinyl. Got a copy though. A test pressing would be cool to get, but can't really justify spending that much on a single record. I guess I'm not that hardcore of a collector just yet.

I was wondering about the AMV2 too. But I'm guessing if that were happening it would have coincided with the original release. Maybe we'll get some more with TGOS3, which despite the rumors (fears?) I think will definitely happen. Especially now with the Redef partnership, I don't think The P is going anywhere anytime soon.

Did anyone else notice this in the email from PL70?
we are sure this lp will not only sell out but become a cherished collectible and fitting endcap to the PUTS legacy.
I know with titles like "The Gettin' Off Stage" and "Where the Piecelock Ends" the P might be winding down, but lyrics in tracks like 100 Miles or Back From the Dead keep me hopeful.
edit: Okay, after following up on the whole riddle from Thes on Instagram and listening to the tracks again with that in mind, I can see the other interpretation of them stopping or at the very least taking a break... guess we'll see.

In all fairness though, whoever buys it at that price needs to get their head fixed: Redef, Fat Beats, ughh, etc. ALL still have copies available.C'mon people, no offense, but if you consider yourself a fan surely it's not too much effort to check a few websites or put in a quick goole search if you were too slow to buy the vinyl via the link you were spoon fed? If you're too lazy to do this you probably don't really *NEED* it that badly.
