There's been dry stretches, drier stretches, beefs... Some people will gain/lose interest over time of course. I'd love for this forum to have very open and broad discussions but it's very difficult to get people onto a forum where the starting point is so specific (ie: People Under The Stairs) and then broaden it after that. It's a bottleneck, so what can you do?

Yah fresh, don't feel like you can't speak. There are many reasons why people come & go. For me, I have times when I am on everyday and then times when I can't find the time for a couple of months. It's just what life throws at yah... Personally I've never beefed with anyone here, no reason to. That is not to say that I agree with all that is posted in this forum. I think the fact that we all love PUTS enough to search them out says we are all like-minded individuals, and therefor should have an instant connection. It's kinda like the Dead-Heads, you could meet 100 different people at a Grateful Dead show and almost every single one of them would treat you like a long lost brother... all because of one common bond, the music. Really though, the music is just a vehicle for preaching a way-of-life and I think that is what's important. For me, I love what the P represents in the hip hop culture... sh!t, they are the one's that brought me back full circle!
But in the end I always know that, whether or not I am on everyday or once a month, Po will be here holdin' down the P. And as sad as it is to see a forum acquaintance fade away, I know it's only a matter of time before another Like-Minded Individual finds their way home.

I went through a small dry spell a few months back, but now i been way more active. I love these boards haha. I feel like I have a lot of friends, without ever even meeting you guys! You guys would probably be there for me more than some of the people I actually see everday

Ok so heres all the bullshizzle thats been going on in my life at the moment...
2 years ago my brother and best friend started taking heroin for a bit of fun as they said!
After a while they both started getting quite secretive about it and doin it more reguarly.
Then 6 months ago, my best friend died from an overdose (after overdosing 3 times before andd having to get brought back to life)
So this was obviously a tragedy for all of us, n my brother swore to never take it again, but recently iv found out he has been taking it again! But now hes been injecting it, and he came home one day with a great big swollen lump on his arm and it loooked f**king horrible. n i knew right away it was becuase he had jagged that sh!t, but he insisted it wasnt!
Now i think hes taking it a few times a week, n i just found out last night he had overdosed a few weeks ago n his flatmate had to get the paramedics out to bring him back!
Now im worryed sick about whats gonna happen, but he still thinks everythings ok n nothings gonna happen!
even tried foning a drug helpline to see if they had any magic words for me, but they basicly told me what i already knew...that if he dont want the help then theres nothing i can do!

Yo 4$fro! Thats sum baaaaaaad sh!t goin on there.... i only know one person who takes heroin on a regular basis so my knowledge may be a lil limited but heres a few things i learnt, this aint advice or what you should do, just what i found out...
Although a filthy, disgusting, depraved drug there is never a too late....
Show some faith and trust in that person, dont judge them on "junky" stereotypes, but remember the the person becomes that drug over time, so dont trust them with anything of value...
Lecturing and having a go hasnt worked for me, i think you just have to hop no harm comes to them and they will get through it...
The media constantly having a go at cannabis really makes no sense while heroin and crack are being sold on our streets.
Methedone, the heroin substitute, is just as addictive and life destroying as heroin, however, its more socially accepted...
I wish i could say more, but there isnt alot to say in my experience, just keep your head up and try and be there for them when they need you...

So, my IPOD is full, i really dont wanna go through it and delete tracks, simply because im a put it on shuffle kinda guy and what plays is good with me, and also, ill here something i never listened to before and really get into it so, with that in mind, im converting them all to 128kbps AAC which literally halves how much space the tracks take up, i know the reduction in quality sucks but i have most of the stuff on CD so not too bad, the rant is, im converting 2807 tracks from a 30GB Ipod and 30mins in, its only converted 150 songs.... not good! Gonna be a long day...

Its only just bigger than a tape.
I've got like 40+ tape packs (at least 8 tapes to a pack) so a quality walkman was a must think I paid like £70 when it was new.
Shhhhit I dont think I even had a job then!!

Thats the tape deck i used to have!!! The rolls royce of tape decks. lol. 2bh, i was pretty young when CDs first got introduced so i never picked up on the tape thing although i did a few DJ James and Funny Kid Lewis (me an my mate) radio shows on this bad boy....

I wonder if the tapes are in my loft or summat, would love to dig em out and here em again...

Yes was like the dopest walkman/cassette player ever.
I used to go thru cassette players like montly still got some crazy Awai / Awia(?!) ones lying around with mad EQ controls on them.
LMAO Radio shows awesome, done a few of them on the olde cassette recorders.
Dissing mates etc haha.
My cousin had one of those Homealone records... spoilt bitch hahaha.
Fun times with them.
You gotta dig out those tapes and listen to them.

Anyways, this thread is getting a bit positive, my i-pod is still feckin syncing, 800 tracks left, its been goin n for nearly 10hours now! Ridiculous!!!! I hope i dont notice the quality drop too much!
