going through it right now, I keep forgetting there's soo many gems on this one. Days Like These is the current fave

also I saw thes post the Spotify version of the album on IG that says it's remastered, is that new?

Posts: 3,618Posted 3 months ago #I think it was 'remastered' ever since it went on to streaming, but I don't know what is different about it.
Thes said he's working on a re-release, so maybe there will be some updates but honestly it always sounded great to me. At the time it was released, Thes said it was important to turn it up loud to hear all the details - as he had mixed it really well, rather than the fashion of the time to just make your album sound 'loud'. Maybe he just had to adjust the levels a bit when it went onto streaming.
So many faves on there... Days Like These, More Than You Know, On & On - those are all real emotional. But tracks like Pumpin, Flex Off, LA9X, The Brownout go really hard.
I love the whole album. Although I was a huge fan of OST, when Stepfather came out it blew my mind and I agree - that's when it solidified for me who The P were! I love it still.

Step In - Perfect track to start off the lp, cool organ loop..
Flex off - Perfect head nodder with the rhymes and cuts..So many other jams..
The bonus DVD with the CD was really cool, mini documentary, beat breakdowns etc..
