Fat Beats is closing in NYC and in LA. i wonder why, but still im devestated because i met Thes and KK in fat beats nyc and now that history is gone including that fat beats nyc was open since 1994 in NYC.

KK in this video talks about a new P album in the works, i wonder what is the name of the album. I wish there was a preview lol.it dont matter though i know the P is up to somethin good. check this out (link)

Too bad about Fat Beats stores though... 2 huge losses in the vinyl community. 
Good to hear that they are still keeping the label going.
Isn't it Fat Beats that presses all the vinyl in LA, or am I trippin'?

yeah, when we were talkin to thes back in june in chi...he was sayin the wooden crates were done for the instrumental package he has cooking up...he said he was storin' them in his garage ....that fool must be crazy busy...store/studio/furniture?/...not to mention wife and kids

Another album next year? Building a studio? Trying to get a store off the ground? still touring n playing shows? gotta wife n kids at home?
Damn thes! I feel bad when i say i dont have enough time to hit up the gym. lol.
On a side note, anyone else dissapointed bou the lack of press Carried Away got? I really thought it was gonna be the "blow up big time" album for them what with the video for trippin @ disco aswell, i thought it was gonna be their year, then again, i thought the same bou Fun DMC? Im not saying they had a bad year n flopped, far from it, they seem like they have a pretty solid fan base etc, i dont get how radio will play some generic indy band or another female singer songwriter, but wont play an established hip-hop band, playing good fun beats with positive lyrics but instead play rap bou sellin drugs n growing up in the ghetto? this is turning into a rant so ima stop here. lol.

It's because there isn't anything in it for them, besides the fact that they would be playing really good music. When the big money stops pouring into big label project's, hopefully then, we will see a change in the mainstream landscape. 'Till then, I'll just lift my little finger at them with a big smile on my face! 
If groups nowadays worked even half as hard as PUTS, the industry would start to flip on it's back & the truly gifted artist's would be on top.
