Just discovered this dude yesterday. He's nice. So nice. Sure, he's a young white kid from Pennsylvania (18 year old from Pittsburgh, to be exact), but this dude can spit. You should download his mixtape K.I.D.S if you can (Kickin' Incredible Dope sh!t). Getting all sorts of buzz, quick, peep him before he's huge. An given what American youth like, this dude's about to blow up in a hot minute. Oh yeah, and he raps about weed too.

Is it me o is this "old skool" vibe coming back into mainstream hip-hop, the violent heavy lyrics replaced by a more laid back style? I like it, i just hope the P get picked up in this wave... am i alone in thinking this? am i making sense? lol.

Ok, after listening to about half of KIDS, my God you can hear the Lil' Wayne influence right on down to the laugh and pause after really corny lines. After seeing that video, I had high hopes for him but this KIDS album has soured me to him a bit. Chalk it up to youth, but I'm tired of hearing that excuse. Most of us emcees were penning some incredible stuff when we were 18/19. What happened to making Incredibly Dope sh!t? lol

Feel you man. Cmon ..I really think that nowadays youth dont even listen to lyrics that much. They just pump clubrap and repeat stupid verses all day long.. ( but of course there's always the minority too which listen to ug also ).
PUTS lyrics are ridiculously good. "Don’t need no DJ, sucka, I handle that, rhymes come in bundle packs"

that video was nice man, I was really feeling it. Sounds like I need to check out this mixtape though.
Any of you been checking out Homeboy Sandman? Dude has been around for a long time from what I hear but just came out with an album and from what I've heard so far it's really down to earth good sh!t. Gilles Peterson's been spinning it too!! NYC I think -
