about people using their images it was never turned into a print- untold this year!This year was HK/Sanrio's 50th Anniversary so they commissioned Shep along
with a gang of other artist's to do a piece to commemorate the occasion.
Obviously Shep already had this image so he finally was able to make it into
a print.That said, this is actually the variant. He initially came out with the same
image, but it was red and more reminiscent of his work of late. That edition is a run
of 300. Luckily for me he ended up doing a second print, that being this variant in pink.This edition is a run of 250. This actually ran me about 95$ shipped and after taxes, but it's completely
sold out and selling on the secondary market(eBay, expressobens, theGiant) for anywhere between 400-500$.I actually just got the print in the mail yesterday and went and picked up that white frame. It's going to
my 8 year old step-daughter for Xmas- she is gonna flip when she see's it!! -

Gustav Klimpts "The Kiss" and "the Virgin"
some people go into my room and think its random (I have a LARGE print hanging of "the kiss" right above my bed, and the smaller "the virgin" hanging on my wall) and if you went in my room, it fits perfectly.. I just think his work is beautiful, interesting, different.. ahh i love it
