   Thes' memoirs/autobiography should be definitely be a good read.

   I also really enjoyed Brian Coleman's Rakim Told Me and Check the Technique books. Not quite the same thing of course, but if you're into liner notes and stories behind some of the greatest Hip Hop albums of the golden era you should definitely pick 'em up. I heard he's working on a second volume, too...

    If my memory serves me right he graduated as an English major... You know he will put everything he has into the Memoir, can't wait to read it!

    Upon graduating from Loyola High School in 1995, he applied to Berklee School of Music in Boston for a BA in Audio Engineering but received a writing scholarship to USC, where he was chosen for the prestigious honors English program. While there, he received the Seibert Fellowship for poetry, acceptance to the Golden Key Honors Society and walked in 1998 Magna Cum Laude with Dean’s Honors.
