I really don't wanna start this thread, but I'm so disgusted that I had to share it.

So, I remember about half a year ago, someone posted a story about disliking cops and said the world was f***ed up... well, here's another one (non-cop related) that shows that Orange County is a cesspool, and the sad thing is that there are people all over the world like this. The fact that elected officials were in on it makes me afraid.

I just saw this on YouTube and it was the first time (in a LONG time) that I felt disturbed to my very core. Warning: graphic verbal abuse involved (if there is such a thing).

And to tie in the other highly controversial PUTS forum thread about science vs. religion: I'm essentially an atheist (humanist and rationalist, really), but I'm okay with certain components of religion and I see why some people need it in their lives. I can bow to and respect that; y'all may be right about the whole Game of Life. But for my religious peeps on the boards, PLEASE tell me that you agree that this video crosses all bounds of decency.

To those of you who dislike controversy in the P forums, I'm sorry.
And everyone in the P forum: MUCH LOVE.

The Ignorance and racism of these people is astonishing, I'm honestly stunned, just stunned, by the stupidity and hatred in this.

Ignorance is such a terrible disease. People like this don't make you proud to be an American. I can only surmise that Fox News has such a powerful influence on these weak minded people. Shame on the politicians who perpetuate this hate. It's sickening.

I don't get how there's a load of policeman there not doing anything about the 'protestors' - in the UK that's not called freedom of speech, that's called inciting racial hatred and is a criminal offence.

There's so many points here I would really like to raise, although I feel it's almost not worth spending time on. So much ignorance and hatred.
What really sums it up is what one of the 'protestors' shouted - "one nation under God not Allah" - that doesn't even make sense.

There's certainly a load of issues within the US that stem from the so-called "freedom of speech" allowing incorrect and hate-inciting information to be spread as fact. "News" channels that only have to spend a small % of air time on providing actual news. And Rupert Murdoch just bought himself the biggest news monopoly in the UK. I'm worried.

Makes me soooooooo angry!

The stupidity of people is both shocking and mind blowing. The fact that elected officials are there showing support is even worse.

I wont comment on the video because i believe were all sharing the same thoughts on this but i will say that as the world becomes more westernised (American) in their ways, ignorace and facism will increase to the point where its gonna kick off big time!

Seriously? Didn't know that about the UK. See, I wouldn't mind a law like that over here at all. But the ability to hate and lie is every "God-given" (:roll:) American's right.

Yeah, man, if Murdoch is actually coming, run for the hills. The fact that Fox straight-up told the courts that they don't have to present facts in their newscasts and the US courts SIDED WITH THEM (I could go look it up if you want, but I'm telling the truth... that actually happened) makes me feel ill. That and the recent Westboro Baptist Church win in the Supreme Court (they can now freely picket soldier's funerals with anti-gay slogans while people are trying to mourn) just make feel like we're in a back slide... fall of the newest Roman empire, y'all.

Look, when it all goes down and the world goes crazy, all the forum members should go down to Australia and chill on the beach... bring your trees, your brew, your turntables, your local college ladies (c'mon look out for the single guys on the boards), whatever.
