I'm really curious on hearing this cd. I can only imagine how much heart Thes put into this mix for such a special day. However, I just can't pull the trigger on a $50 cd at the moment. I'll keep my eye to see if the price is lowered.

Posts: 3,255Posted 15 years ago #I have it, and I can tell you its definitely not your usual mixtape. Less funk, much more diverse in it's sources... I think there's some Indian and Peruvian stuff on there. You can tell it's a really personal thing. I like it and I drop it from time to time, but I could see it not being to everyone's taste. Thes' track "The Promise" is d*mn good.

Posts: 584Posted 15 years ago #Yeah agree with the above....i must admit i splashed out for it as its been a bit of a legend and needed it in my collection. Was feeling a bit flush so went for it....and even though its not the usual i still think its pretty good with some great standout moments.....when the Prince track drops i was loving it. Its just nice slice of PUTS personal history.
