So, I've been makin beats on ACID for a while, but I wanna get into the real thing with the MPC, dusty records, and all. So I was wondering what in addition to an MPC, records, and turntable I'd need to get if I wanted to break into this whole thing? I understand it's gonna be f**king complicated to get started, but if anyone can provide me a list of what I'd need I'd appreciate it very much.

Post up some beats you made using ACID. I've made a couple using ACID. Prefer that than to the MPC (sacrilege, I know) but I'm more of a technical person so actually seeing the soundwaves on the PC and precisely cutting them works for me.

The first thing you'll need is a good set of ears - no amount of equipment or tools will make up for a lacklustre set of listeners. All of your favourite beat makers have a talent for hearing that break, loop, sample or hit and thinking "hey I can do x, y, z" with it. Sure, you need the tools to be able to put it all together, and therein is the chicken-and-egg situation, but you can get a rough idea if its your cup of tea far easier with a couple of records and virtually any modern DAW.
A good place to start is finding some of your favourite songs and listening to what samples were used to make it - de-construct the song and see if you can figure out how they did it.
Here's a good example:

I've got a bunch of my own beats I've made but I'm waiting till I have a solid twenty or so I'm really proud of so I can put out a full album download. I'll post up a couple for ya though, once I get em online.
And to East Wittering, I've actually seen all those videos haha. I've got "La Bahemia" on my Ipod; its a f**king awesome song. Thank you for the advice though. What I really need to know is all of the equipment I need, cause I've tried googling searching and using other forums so many times but I can never get anyone to give me just a list of the sh!t I need to get. Not even specifics (i.e., models/brand names) or anything, just the bare minimum of the standard product of what I'll need (what kinds of cables I'll need, etc.).
Thanks for the posts guys, I appreciate the responses haha.

I don't mean to sound disparaging or pompous, but I'm afraid that if you don't know what cables you need for the equipment you intend to buy you're going to find the whole thing incredibly difficult, if possible to enjoy.
Start with some really simple tools - some records, a turntable and virtually any modern DAW on the market.
As much as we all love the MPC, there are very few compelling reasons to use it unless you've been doing so for many years. They are, for the most part, antiquated pieces of kit that have an incredibly rigid and specific workflow to them that is very hard to break into, especially if you have been exposed to the ease of working within a modern PC DAW environment.

Well the thing is in all reality I wont have enough cash to start out for a while, cause I'm still in high school. This is something I plan on doing years from now, but I just wanna know the items I would need so I can start doing some research into it. I know fully well that its gonna be a pain in the ass to learn everything, which is why I wanna start learning now, so that by the time I would want to start I would have a VERY good base of knowledge to begin with.
I know its gonna be incredibly difficult to get started, but I don't care. I understand this isn't gonna be some side project I can just work on for two weeks and have it down. I wanna start looking into stuff now so I can know as much as possible before I actually start working.

all those controls and buttons get really confusing on LSD,
stick with the Ganj and it will all work out.
a much more 'beat-making' condusive high.

I use Acid on my PC but have to teach on MAC and use protools and logic.
Love PC and love acid.
it's all about what you get use to and how fast you would with something - I can work really fast with acid although it does not seem as refined as logic or protools I love it.

Fellas fellas. Get FXpansion Guru and a sample/kit-pack for that and you are good to go. Geist is good too. Google em.
