Yo peeps, hope everyone is cool. Just thought I'd ask yo guys about your p.u.t.s records. Anyone out there have everything they ever released!??
I've been lucky to have dug up some good finds recently in the form of the P.U.T.S Question Instrumental LP (it's so dope having inst.. of some of my fave track) and also the next step two LP which I was extrememy happy to find! Anyone else have it just wondering how scarce it is..
I've also got yield/out da club 12'' aswell as thes produced Mission:home 12'' which is sick!
I know everybody else's wax collections would take ages so how bout just P.U.T.S and anything else your stoked on having

I got friggin doubles of everything (not quite everything though)including: Or Stay Tuned, O.S.T., O.S.T. 12 inch, Yield 12 inch, Acid Raindrops 12 inch, Cat 12 inch, Jappy Jap 12 inch, We'll Be There 12 inch (3 copies, 2 for spinning and one for the hangup!). As far as single copies of records by the P, I got the Youth Explosion 12 inch, which is my favorite cover out by them... check out Thes being an O.G. in the background! Word Thes! Also I got the Noonen limited edition, and regular copy, Next Step LP, Back on the Block Remix 12 inch, Home 12, Bloquera, We Came From Beyond (had Chollo Dad on it), and Thes' Sadat X remix of Don't Get It Twisted...just a ridiculously dope song, and two copies of the Next Stets by Thes. Yeah, well I think involving the P thats about it (I want the Question on vinyl too man...I saw it in a record store last year and didn't have enough money so I left it for another time, but someone copped it DAMN MAN, its a hard find for sure...plus I've seen QITFOAA in this shop in Vancouver, but the cover was just black without the album artwork, so I'm even more mad cuz I coulda picked up the real one right near my house if I had the money), and I got all the Tres 12s except the first G.P. 12 out, and there latest LP. Alright man, keep blasting the P on the turntables... How long have you been djaying for by the way?

But they've been an idea of having some for years, finally got the cash together! my mixer bleeds sometimes and I need to get a new needle for one deck. But hey it's mainly for the love of music and to collect wax ya know. I got some cool funk albums including The Counts 'Funk Pump' classic funked up dopeness.. I'm geting into producing aswell and have so many idea's for what records to sample! My parents have some dope records. I aint alowed to buy any more wax til I go to Germany in just over a week and I hear there's some good record stores in Berlin so can't wait to see what I can dig up! Any other peeps wanna post their 'P' collections and anything else?

Off the top of my head I have every PUTS release except all their albums on vinyl or The Cat 12" or CD. Plus I have everything Tres Records has put out so far including Mithai and KTRS promo CD. I also have that limited edition Noonen (plus normal) and Home 12", erm... I just picked up Fly School Reunion double 12" LP here in Japan! --> props to GP!! I also have GPs 88 Remix and some other ish like ah i dunno im kinda drunk

Posts: 239Posted 20 years ago #I found out about puts on the OM label which so happense to be one of my favorite record labels out there. i was ordering alot of house and downtempo and i started listening to puts on a whim (who'd have thought theyd turn out to be my fav hip hop combo).
