As much as i'm impressed with your "wait for vinyl" stand Mister Tibbs and to a degree understand why....surely you just cutting your nose off to spite for face dude.....all that great music that has delayed vinyl releases (and in some cases doesn't come) and as we move on into the future this will just get worst and worst (sadly) Maybe this conversation needs to be on another thread....but to keep it relevant.....the UD album is dope!!!!

I hear you...but I'm getting old...and it's vinyl (and still the odd cd) for me. I'll never be down with all this downloading, so at least I'll always have something to moan about in my old age...such as 'I remember the days of vinyl etc... etc...'!

Still, I have just ordered the UD album on cd...and although it cost me a bit more, I ordered from the UD store so at least I'm sticking to my principles and they get all my money...as opposed to some fat, robbing record company.

Hey Mister Tibbs totally understand....i too am getting old (34) and as i say really admire and are down with your stance.....i just wish i had your patience but i see new music and i've just got to have it!!!! You cannot beat vinyl and i have a sad heart everytime i look at mine and the 1210's gathering dust....just no room for that stuff in my house sadly. Well i hope you enjoy the UD CD....i am sure you will. Roll on the Highlighter Vinyl....i am going to sniff it and feel it

I don't buy as much music as I used to (damm them kids!), so when I do, it's about the whole product...and I like to actually see and feel something for my hard earnt cash...and you don't get sweet ass handmade packaging with downloads!

The Beastie Boys White vinyl I had shipped over from the US is tidy as...but I know Highlighter is gonna be the sh!t!

You've gotta get those 1210's back into action...if only to listen to Highlighter...

So...the cd turned up today (what a Christmas I've had!), and check this...as I mentioned I was gutted the wax still hadn't been released, Kevin Cooper (Andy's brother I assume?) sent a note thanking me for my support and included a free 'Gold Chain' t-shirt and a bunch of stickers & postcards!

I tell you what...not only do the West Coast Hip Hop boys know how to make a record...they are also some kind ass people.

The P...UD...you are the sh!t.

Okay, okay, okay... back off a bit, gentlemen...

I'm not to the point of hanging action figures on my walls, I've got Sicilian blood that's helped me avoid the paste-y skin thing, I've never played Magic or WoW, and I've moved on to better clothes in the past few years, but I'm probably in the same class as this guy, the Goofy White Guy (GWG, or Gwog... okay, I'm making up this acronym). I need some serious dance lessons, I can tell you that much.

Gwogs are major consumers in the hip-hop industry and have been since the early Nineties, so let's appreciate this dude's review...

...he probably could use a haircut, though

Got a full front-to-back listen in the car this morning (working...but only today thank f***!).
And what can I say...it's the sh!t, I love it. And as we know, it's only going to get better & better with each listen.

Good old 'Ando'!, Dizzy & Einstein...you can't help but smile when you listen to them.

We've been spolit this year with this and Highlighter, and just hope 2012 produces something as good...dare I say 'Wonderful Radio'??

Be a nice new years present when the UD wax finally drops...

really we aren't being that hard on the kid, but when you put some questionable sh!t out there, prepare to be questioned. Btw I never said I didn't look like a typical nerdy white kid, but you will never know cause I won't be posting my "reviews" anytime soon...

I 100%-agree with you about vulnerability being a consequence of putting yourself out there. And if you do a video review, the hair is definitely vulnerable. It may even detract from your credibility...

...but I'm thinking about twisting that concept to my advantage: if I can find a girl who is willing to do it, I may try to start a "Hot Naked Woman reviews..." series. Can you imagine how many people (well... men, anyway) would buy Highlighter or Breakneck if I make that happen? Maybe to make it YouTube-appropriate, I could get her to cover up with two PUTS scan-code stickers.

Dang - UD vinyl now been put back to end of Jan!

I will NEVER give up...I WILL own that vinyl one day...
