Without giving too much away, what is the theme for the album gonna be like? Will it be like the 80s era FUN DMC was? or early 90s? any suggestions?

I haven't got the slightest idea. I just know from their past LPs to expect greatness. The title of Highlighter does give off the vibe that it will bring very bright and colorful music though.

Judging from that Highlighter preview video looks like we got a little guitar live band action going on in some of the songs. I'm not sure that's a theme, but I can't hate on PUTS at all doing some up-tempo songs with a live band and some Thes beats, think that would be dope.

Nice pants.
Possible themes:
-The economy sucks, but PUTS stays consistent.
-Eight times dope.
-Gritty filthy funk coming to you with crystal clear production.
-Fresh for 2011, you suckas. (Props to BDP for that one.)
-L.A. Mike and the Midnight Flavour Runners.
-Lord Radio and the Satellites.
-One album from two guys coming three times to your four-eyed dome with five minute-tracks of six-shooter funk, and they'll further rock your seven chakras with eight months of touring. But I'm not sure about that last one.

Im expecting serious tones. Very grim. Like a never ending grey sky that lets you know a storm in looming on the horizon.
Or
Some funky dope flavour like always. -
