Got Oddisee's new album "Rock Creek Park" in the mail yesterday and it's lovely. Got Smoke DZA's album "Rolling Stoned" (which came out august 30th) today and have been bumping that a bit. It's really good stuff. Found out that Kid Koala has an album coming out - "Space Cadet" - this month so I preordered that on Ninja Tune's website. I tried to purchase Thundercat's new album "The Golden Age of Apocalypse" but it's on back order so I'll have to wait. I listened to the leaks of Plaid and Apparat and pre-ordered those because they were pretty dope. From what I heard of the Bronze Nazareth album coming out on Tuesday, it's pretty good so I'm waiting on that. DTMD has an album called "Makin' Dollas" at the end of the month and J-Live is releasing an album the same day. Jazz pianist Brad Mehldau has an album coming, I'll probably cop that. DJ Shadow's album was going to come out that day but it got pushed back to October 4th. I really like the sound of it and will definitely buy it. Oh and of course Highlighter! Loving all this music.
The month of September has been great for music.

They're not open about the details and process though so I don't know anything about it besides that they are planning on it. I will definitely check out Dr. Oop & Budamunk. I have some older material from Dr. Oop that is pretty dope so I expect some sweet tunes =) btw, if you like BoC, you'll probably like Tycho. he has an album dropping November 15th (2 days after I leave for OCS unfortunately) He released a free single:

Although it probably will be. People Under The Stairs, J-Live, Scroobius Pip, DJ Shadow & the UD album on the hip-hop side and Neon Indian, The Rapture and a few others elsewhere.
Going to be a costly month.

Posts: 381Posted 14 years ago #Damn, ANOTHER tight album on the 27th. What the hell why are so many artists trying to cram in on that date?! Kinda glad Big K.R.I.T. pushed his album back. It was supposed to release on that day also.
Also, since I last posted I preordered Madlib, Wilco, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and it looks like I'mma have to get that Evidence album too (that track and the sampler I found posted on youtube sound pretty dope).
