Don't get 'Carried Away' though Sac...enjoy your free time while you can...you've earnt it.
I've got two kids under 3, and as much as I love it...it is damm hard work...the little rascals just don't know how to take it easy...and they NEVER give you a rest!

On a completely random side note, I'm transcribing the El Rey DVD interviews right now, and in the process of getting through the concert songs quickly, I decided to put my DVD player on 2x playback (my player keeps the sound going too), and watching "Step In" on double speed is the trippiest, funniest thing I think I've seen in a long time, yo.... Posts: 394Posted 14 years ago #I'm sort of new to the boards, but here's my speel: I work at a radio station (Christian) in Memphis, TN as an audio engineer. My biggest thing at the moment is I'm working on an album that I hope to have finished by the end of next month. Its composed of songs I've written on guitar, bass, drums, MPC, and tables. I've been working really hard on it for 2-3 months, and I'm currently on track to finish it. I'm trying to have all the songs written by the end of this month, and then spend most of December tightening up the arrangements, mixing, and mastering it. I'm going to make album artwork and get CD's made up to hand to friends and interested parties, and I'll also make it available to the board as I'd love to get the criticism. Right now I have about 10 songs done, and I'm trying to get 3-5 more done by the end of the month.
Currently, I'm out of records to make things from...I've gone through all my new records and gotten everything worth getting.....I get paid tomorrow and I'm headed to the record shop to get some more material. Also, I gotta go see the weed man as that is quite a necessary part of the process.

Yep...as hard as it is...there's nothing better in life then sitting back with a brewski watching them cause havoc...and they can be absolutely hilarious at times.
I'm trying to teach them the ways of the vinyl, and at the moment the eldest still loves 'Einstein Do It'...she does the scratching movements with her hand...just hope it lasts past the troublesome teens!
